Blogmas Day 6: Winter Skincare Routine.

As the cold weather draws in, it brings me even more dry, dull skin, if that's even possible. A richer everything is definitely needed. I don't change my routine too much, just a few tweaks here and there for ultimate hydration and minimum dryness. This is my super basic evening skin care routine with a few of my staple products.

Step 1: Avon 5 in 1 White Clay Cleanser, Scrub & Mask.
This is my first step after taking my make up off, I use it an exfoliator and alternate it with various different other ones depending on what kinda mood I'm in and how often I should use it. It makes my skin feel really soft and fresh straight after use.

Step 2: The Body Shop Drops of Light Pure Resurfacing Liquid Peel.
Next up I use this liquid peel, which is incredible. It's gel to peel formula lifts dead skin and impurities leaving your skin looking brighter after just one use. I use around 3/4 times a week, rub into my skin and then just wash off with warm water.

Step 3: Clearasil Rapid Action Pads.
I LOVE these, I genuinely do think these are mostly what help keep my skin so clear. I use 1/2 pads and just wipe over my face and neck. They help to open blocked pores and send 'spot fighting ingredients' deep into them to help clear spots.

Step 4: The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion.
This is a very recent addition into my routine and so far I'm really liking it. It contains vitamin E, wheatgerm oil and hyaluronic acid, it helps to plump skin and lock in moisture and it makes my skin feel so so soft.

Step 5: Glam Glow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment.
The last step and probably my favourite product. I use it slightly differently to how you're meant to as I use it every night as a moisturiser but its what works best for my skin. It contains hyaluronic acid, citric acid to provide hydration and a dewy glow. A blend of actives from apples, oat beta glucan and hydraclay to help retain natural moisture and orange blossom honey, coconut and ginger root to boost natural radiance and condition the skin. If you've got super dry skin I HIGHLY recommend this!
