Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box May 2018 Review.

Look incredible are a company that provide monthly ( Standard box is every two months, Deluxe box is every month) subscription boxes both standard (£25 pm) and deluxe (£35 pm). The monthly boxes contain 4/5 full sized beauty products. I'm subscribed to the deluxe box which contains brands such as Chanel, Dior, Tarte, Too Faced and many many more. £35 might seem like a lot but when the total product value for each deluxe box is usually between £90-£100+ it's a no brainer. I'll be honest I had reservations when I first saw the contents of this months box. I wasn't sure how I would get on with a couple of the products but I'm happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the outcomes.

Limited Edition MAC Selena Powder Blush Duo in Techno Cumbia- £26.
This is probably only one of 2 or three MAC products that I've ever tried so I was really interested to experiment with it. On first glance I could already tell that the bronzer shade is far too dark for me, which made me wary to try it but once I did I found that luckily it blends out super easily and with a super light hand I'm able to make it work and it actually looks quite natural. The blush colour is a gorgeous dusky pink shade which is one of my favourite blush shades. The packaging is also super pretty!

Smashbox L.A. Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Colour in Mulholland Mauve- £26.
Now with this product I fully judged a book by it's cover. I hate cream blush products with a passion because as someone who has super dry skin they play havoc with my make up. I thought that I would give it a go once and then just stick to using it on my lips as the colour is actually really pretty. I was genuinely shocked at how nice the formula is. It's less creamy and almost balm like which makes it super easy to blend for a pretty, natural flushed glow. I also found that it didn't disturb the make up I already had on which baffled me as I expected to be a patchy mess. I also liked that it has a velvety soft flat sponge for super easy blending, although I think I prefer to use my fingers. This has fast become my favourite product of this months box!

Too Faced Size Queen Mascara- £21.
Apart from trying to get a pale enough shade of foundation/concealer, trying to find a mascara that actually works for me is one of the most difficult things. This isn't a bad mascara. I really like the formula, it gave my lashes length and thickness but just not lift or volume. In my opinion the brush is far too big, unnecessarily big, its just not practical. I'm planning on trying it out with a different brush as, as I mentioned before the formula does actually seem quite nice. Whilst I was wearing it, it didn't smudge at all and lasted all day. It contains red algae, panthenol and vitamin C & E to help nourish and protect.
Rating- 3.5/5

Fusion Beauty LipFusion XXL- £20.
'Lip plumping' products like this always make me nervous as I tend to have quite sensitive lips and after using a plumping product before I was left with super swollen lips similar to Kris Jenner in that one Kardashians episode. However luckily so far this plumper hasn't given me a horrible reaction and I'm actually enjoying using it. It barely feels tingly and has a super subtle minty scent. Something about the formula also seems to help bring colour to my lips. It obviously doesn't make a huge difference in the size of your lips, but it does make them appear subtly plumper.
Rating- 4/5.

Total Box Value- £93.
